About The Nevada Mining Association

The Nevada Mining Association represents all aspects of the mining industry in the state.  The Association provides representation for the broad mining industry in public outreach activities such as public relations, media relations and community relations.  Through its committee structure, the Association provides a central point of organization at the state level for issues faced by its members in regulatory affairs, mine safety, environment, taxation, human resources, education, public outreach and government affairs.  Members include the precious metals mining companies operating in Nevada, industrial minerals operations, companies that are conducting exploration or development activities in Nevada and suppliers of goods and services to the mining industry.  The Association also has a category of membership for individuals who are simply interested in mining in Nevada.  The Nevada Mining Association maintains close relationships with other mining associations working in other states and with the National Mining Association.
