2020 Nevada Mining Association Convention Update

We know many of you are all working through the effects of COVID-19. The Nevada Mining Association is no different. However, the NvMA remains committed to providing opportunities for miners to network, share best practices, and celebrate our mining safety and reclamation award winners. For that reason, we are determined to host our annual convention in September and bring you even more opportunities to connect, learn, and share with each other. Get ready, the 2020 Nevada Mining Association Convention is going Virtual!

However, don’t cancel your plans to bask in the beauty of Lake Tahoe! We are going to provide both in-person and virtual events to serve the needs and interests of all our members. The annual golf tournament at Edgewood Tahoe will still go on, September 10 and 11, with a number of safety protocols put in place.

We will also offer creative virtual opportunities for you to participate in from your home and office, including popular events like the Reverse Expo. Virtual events will take place September 14-18. Sessions will be available on-demand to participants following the event.

Convention sponsorship will open on June 30th. Registration for the 2020 NvMA Convention will open on July 13th.
