Annual Lake Tahoe Convention
The Nevada Mining Association Convention, hosted annually at beautiful Lake Tahoe, is one of the most anticipated events in the mining industry. Hundreds from gather from all over to network, discuss successes, and converse about the future.
Convention events and activities are designed for attendees to conduct business while enjoying the amenities Lake Tahoe provides. The golf tournament at Edgewood Tahoe allows for players to network while playing one of the West’s most scenic courses.
The reverse expo is another popular event. Vendors and mine operators meet face-to-face for a series of short meetings discussing potential business partnerships.
Additionally, the convention features a host of great presentations and panels discussing Nevada’s politics, economy, and other topics important to Nevada’s mining industry now and into the future.
The convention concludes with a ceremony celebrating the recipients of the Safety and Reclamation Awards, which honors those who have exemplified the meaning of safety over the past year and worked towards the mission of restoring the environment to the way it was or into something better.
