Nevada Mining Association Announces New Branding Logo
The Nevada Mining Association (NVMA) is proud to announce the launch of its new brand identity, including a redesigned logo that represents Nevada’s modern mining industry.
The new logo speaks to the industry’s position as a high tech, environmentally responsible industry with a global reach. Since the discovery of the Comstock Lode in 1859, Nevada mining has developed into an advanced and sophisticated STEM industry with a highly-skilled and highly-trained workforce. After careful consideration, the NVMA chose a new logo that provides a contemporary look and captures the Association’s mission to unite, educate, advocate, and serve as the public voice of Nevada’s modern mining industry.
On the far left side of the logo, the state of Nevada is connected with the globe, signifying the important role the NVMA and the mining industry serves around the world. While the logo references the present and future of the Association, it is also vital to remember the past. Established in 1913, the NVMA is proud of its rich, 107-year history, which is reflected on the bottom right portion of the logo.
Connected, the new NVMA logo reaffirms that the Nevada Mining Association remains a guiding force for Nevada, it’s mining industry, and people around the world who rely on the 20-plus essential minerals produced in the state.
