NvMA Announces Postponement of Elko Reverse Expo & Reception

As we are all aware, COVID-19, popularly referred to as “Coronavirus,” has reached the Silver State. The NvMA Board, like many of you, has been monitoring the situation and taking proactive steps to minimize risk to our members, employees, and families during this time of uncertainty. After careful consideration and consulting with the NNRDA, the Elko medical community, and other similarly situated business organizations across the state, the NvMA Board believes that postponing our events in Elko next week, including the Reverse Expo and Meet & Greet with Tyre Gray, is the most prudent decision.

Nevada Mining Association has every intention of rescheduling the Reverse Expo as well as the reception and is currently exploring new dates for these events. Association staff will send updates as they are available, but please do not hesitate to contact the office at (775) 829-2121 with any questions or concerns. In the interim, please continue to be vigilant: wash your hands frequently, use proper techniques when sneezing or coughing, and clean surfaces where germs can gather. Thank you in advance for your understanding and let’s keep those who are dealing with this unfortunate illness in our thoughts.
