School will be ending soon for most students across Nevada…

Keeping children engaged during the summer can be challenging. Throughout the summer months, we’ll be providing fun and educational activities taking place around Nevada.

Camps, Classes, & Workshops:

UNR is hosting a series of engineering camps throughout June and July, each focusing on different subject matters for students ages 12-18. In addition to basic and advanced courses, the Young Women in Engineering Camp will introduce middle school-aged girls to STEM subjects and women professionals working in STEM fields.

For younger children, Kids University offers a wide variety of different activities, including coding, math, and science classes.

Museums:

The university area contains nine amazing museums and points of interest that can entertain and educate the whole family. The W.M. Keck Earth Science Museum is home to a world-class collection of mineral samples from Nevada and around the world.
